On Tuesday, August 31, 2010 through Tuesday, September 14, 2010, Brown Funeral Directors will have in our facility, the replica of the Abraham Lincoln coffin. We invite all to come and see this true to life original replica of one of America's great leaders. Batesville Casket Company has produced five replica's. One is on permanent display in an Illinois Museum and four travel the nation for people to see. It was considered one of the most elaborate coffins of its day. The casket will be on display during this two week period at Brown Funeral Directors in Borger. Located at 206 West First St., on the corner of First and Hedgecoke.
