Emilio Cruz, 80, of Borger, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2011.
Emilio C. Cruz was born Friday, August 5, 1932 in Mexico to Emilia Cruz. He was self-employed and did a little bit of everything.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Elvira Cruz and his son, Emilio Cruz Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Trinidad Cruz; three sons, Esbardo Cruz of Pampa, TX, Jesse Cruz of Skellytown, TX and Manuel Cruz of Dalhart, TX; two daughters, Juanita Pena of Pampa, TX and Sylvia Munoz of Pampa, TX; two brothers; one sister; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Borger, TX with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. A second service will be held at 2:00PM in Silverton, TX on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Silverton, TX.
