Frankie Selvidge

Frankie Selvidge, 90, of Friona, passed away, Sunday, February 5, 2012.

Frankie Duvall Selvidge was born Monday, June 6, 1921 in Duncan, OK to Alex and Bessie (Coker) Duvall. She married George Selvidge on December 16, 1937 in Duncan, OK.  She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George in 2003; son, Jerry Leon Selvidge in 1945: and grandson, Kelly Jones.

Survivors include one son, Jimmie Selvidge and wife Rosalyn of Guymon, OK; one daughter, Joyce Loflin and husband Jerry of Friona, TX; one brother, Odes Duvall of Duncan, OK; one sister, Marie Burton of Duncan, OK; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church in Stinnett, TX with Pastor Dennis Richardson officiating.  Burial will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, OK.

Mrs. Selvidge will lie in state at Brown Chapel in Stinnett, TX on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM and Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 8:00AM to 10:00AM.
