Jim Blackman

Jim Blackman, 78, passed away, Monday, February 8, 2010.

Jimmie Lee Blackman was born November 12, 1931 in Pampa, TX to William and Florene (Smith) Blackman. He worked in maintenance for Phillips Petroleum. He married Ann Williamson on June 8, 1952 in Borger, TX. He was a member the First Christian Church and the Unity Masonic Lodge #1242. Mr. Blackman also served in Korea as a member of the Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ann Blackman on June 15, 2003.

Survivors include his sons, Owen Blackman and wife Judy of Graham, TX and Bruce Blackman of Borger, TX; daughters, Cynthia Ensey and husband Lynn of Amarillo, TX and Mitzi Flores of Borger, TX; sisters, Betty Miser of Borger, TX and Linda York and husband Don of Amarillo, TX; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pall Bearers will be Bruce Blackman, Steve Hoyl, Eugene Velasquez, Scot Castleberry, Tracy Keck and Jesse Glaesman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Borger, TX with Burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
