Lula Mae Rothmeyer

Lula Mae Rothmeyer, 99, of Borger, went home to her heavenly father, Saturday, November 19, 2011.
Services will be held at 10a.m. Wednesday, November 23,2011 at Riverview Baptist Church, Borger, TX with Pastor Jimmy Gillmore officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Directors of Borger, TX.
Lula Mae was born to George and Ruth Brimage on May 21, 1912 in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma. Lula was one of eight siblings. Lillian Brimage, George "Bud" Brimage, Elbert Brimage, Theondo Brimage, Talbert Brimage, Conley Brimage, and Eva Brimage. She married William Fay Rothmeyer, January 1, 1930 in Soper, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband's masonry business. They were married for 53 wonderful years and blessed with three children Geneva, Phyllis and Jimmy. Lula loved to garden and loved all types of flowers, especially roses. She was a member of Franklin Street Church of Christ until she could no longer drive. She moved to Golden Years Assisted Living in Borger in 2007 where she had many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fay in 1983, brothers - Bud, Elbert, Theondo, Talbert, and Conley and sister Lillian, daughter Geneva White in 1998, and son Jimmy in 2005. She is survived by one sister, Eva Raney of Euless, TX, daughter Phyllis Hollowell, and husband Nathan of Eure, NC, 8 grandchildren; Doug Hollowell of Houston, TX, Michael Hollowell, and wife Betty of Lovettsville, Virginia, Pam Freeman and husband Bill of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Kathleen Smith and husband David of Palmetto, Florida, Lori Guy and husband Bruce of Saudi Arabia, Kay Fisher and husband Brett of Borger, Jeff Rothmeyer of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Joan Starr and husband Scott of Benton, Arkansas, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews and her extended family at Golden Years Assisted Living Center.
