Ouida Titsworth

Ouida Titsworth, 88, passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2010.

Ouida Aloyise Burns Titsworth was born Saturday, November 19, 1921 in Bates, AR to Tom and Lou Anna Burns.  She married Luther “Les” Titsworth on December 11, 1948 in Waldron, AR.  They moved to the Borger area in the 1950’s.  She and her husband owned the City Cab Company during the mid/late 1970’s.  She was a homemaker.  Her family was her life, especially her three great grandchildren, Amber, D’Ann and Lincoln.  Her sense of humor was unique and her quick-wit would always guarantee a come-back response.   

She is preceded in death by her husband, Les in 2008, her son Kenneth in 1997 and her brother-in-law Quinton in 1995.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Sanders of Fritch, TX; her sister, Faye Gilbreath of Fritch, TX; two grandchildren, Laci Honaker of Borger, TX and Bryan Titsworth of Lubbock, TX and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX.  Burial will be at 11:00AM, Monday, January 18, 2010 at Kirk Cemetery in Cauthron, AR.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger, TX.
