Samuel Earl Hardcastle, 84 yrs old, passed away Monday, September 05, 2011 in Amarillo, TX.

Samuel Earl Hardcastle was born Friday, May 27, 1927 in Roswell, NM to Samuel & Mable (Purcella) Hardcastle. Sam served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked in the oil field most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters and brothers.

He is survived by his only daughter, Earline Harbison & husband Rick of Fritch, TX; 2 brothers, Jim Hardcastle of Colorado, Ray Hardcastle of Roswell, NM; 1 sister Mary Herrington of Roswell, NM; 2 grandchildren, Richard Harbison and Anngela Purcell and 8 great grandchildren.

Cremation was entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger, TX.

Graveside services will be scheduled at a later date.
