Socorro "Suki" Villescas

Socorro “Suki” Villescas, 54, of Borger, passed away, Thursday, July 14, 2011.

Socorro (Maltos) Villescas was born Friday, January 18, 1957 in El Paso, TX to Sixto and Lupe (Cruz) Maltos.  She married Javier Villescas on August 28, 1975 in El Paso, TX.  She was a homemaker and on the Parish Council for St. John’s Catholic Church.  Suki also volunteered at Care Net Pregnancy Center.

Survivors include her husband, Javier; her son, Javier Villescas Jr. of Borger, TX; her daughters, Gracie Villescas and Lorena Arquello and husband Jose both of Borger, TX; her sisters, Ofelia Maltos and Connie Castaneda both of El Paso, TX; her grandchildren, Mark Anthony Diaz, Jose Arquello Jr. and Madline Vargas all of Borger, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Borger, TX with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating.  Rosary will be Friday, July 15, 2011 at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX.

Mrs. Villescas will lie in state at Brown Chapel of the Fountains in Borger, TX on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and Friday, July 15, 2011 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
