Willie Emma Owens Pigg, 75 of Fritch, passed away Wednesday, September 07, 2011
Willie was born Saturday, March 28, 1936 in Hedley, TX to Sam & Cassie (Bell) Owens. She was one of 8 brothers and sisters. She married Ronald Pigg on August 26, 2000 in Amarillo. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bobby Hamilton and a brother, Sam Owens Jr.
She is survived by her husband Ronald of Fritch; two daughters Vickie Henry & husband Mike of Bossier City, LA, Kathy Hendrix & husband David of Cedar Falls, IA; one son Steve Hamilton & partner David Carter of Amarillo; four brothers, Jimmie Owens & wife Peggy of Amarillo, Merle Owens & wife Betty of Goodnight, Berle Owens & wife Linda of Amarillo, Doug Owens & wife Kay of Amarillo; two sisters, Faye Naylor of Clarendon, Ginger Gafford of Amarillo; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pigg will lie in state at Brown Chapel of the Fountains in Borger, 8:00AM to 8:00PM Saturday, September 10, 2011 and 12:00PM to 6:00PM Sunday, September 11, 2011.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday, September 12, 2011 at Brown Chapel of the Fountains with burial at 4:00PM in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley, TX following.
The family will be staying at 3700 Lenwood Dr. in Amarillo, TX and 6702 Bayswater Rd in Amarillo, TX.
