Wilma Gilreath

Wilma Gilreath, 70, passed away, Monday, January 25, 2010.

Wilma Louise Savage Gilreath was born September 6, 1939 in Owen Co., KY to Joseph and Zula Savage. She was a homemaker. She married David Gilreath on April 9, 1970 in Owenton, KY. She was a member of Soldiers For Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Prather and Joyce Ann Savage; brothers, Robert Kaye Savage and Howard Allen Savage; granddaughters, Haydon Zula Marie Gilreath and Marissa Ann Johns; and grandson, James Carol Johns.

Survivors include her son Jimmy Gilreath and wife Stephanie of Stinnett, TX; daughters, Ann Gillean and husband Rick of Stinnett, TX and Ellen Johns and husband Jimmy Joe of Owenton, KY; brothers, Joe Savage and wife Gayle of TN, Louis Savage of Oklahoma City, OK, David Savage of IN; sisters, Mary Carter of KY, Nelva Thompson of OK, Shirley Elkins of TX, Betty Jo Prather of KY; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ann Gillean, Jimmy Gilreath, Ellen Johns, Anastacia Gilreath, Mike Wilkinson Jr. and Wayne Johns.

Services will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Soldiers For Christ Fellowship in Skellytown, TX with Rick Gillean officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Gilreath will lie in state at Brown’s Chapel in Stinnett, TX on Thursday, January 28, 2010 and Friday, January 29, 2010 from 8:00AM ~ 8:00PM.
